The second game for the UAAP S76 Opening Day was between UST
Growling Tigers and DLSU Green Archers. This game displayed another Teng Showdown.

The game went into overtime after a deadlock at 51 points. The 3P’s (Pride,
Puso, Palaban) of the Growling Tigers prevailed against the Green Archers’ bid
to win their first match. The King Tiger, Jeric Teng, helped his
team win the game as his brother, Jeron Teng, was fouled out just before the
end of regulation. The elder Teng finished with 23 pts. Karim Abdul contributed
with 17 pts, 10 rebs, 2 stls and 3 blks despite his problems with turnovers.
The UST Growling Tigers won over DLSU Green Archers. Final Score is 63-58.
Former Glowing Goldies player and the Famous Coach Pido Jarencio said that he's happy that they won despite the opening jitters they felt during the game.
